Car history:
1962 Corvette. It's restoration is less than 500 miles old and everything is new, renewed and works. According to my research I am the 4th owner and what I can figure this car was not used much throughout its life. The odometer shows a little over 25,000 miles and could be actual mileage. I have owned this car 2 years and have driven it 275 miles, the rest of the time stored in a climate controlled facility. Engine, transmission and rear are all matching numbers to this car from its production date. The 3 speed 1962 Vette is a rarity as most were ordered with the optional 4 speed or automatic powerglide transmission. The engine is the smaller version 327 which is evident in running very cool even in traffic on a hot day. As mentioned all components, tach, speedometer, gauges work as well as heater, defrost and wipers. A full restoration was done and all details were attended to.The hard top is in new condition and I didn't feel taking a picture of it was necessary, it's perfect. I have the original radio and steering wheel with hardware as well as the original rear trunk mat. The underneath is as clean as the rest of the car. I opted for wide whitewalls rather than the thin whitewall standard on the 1962, just a personal preference.
