Engine details: Original engine blown in 1964, replaced with a passenger car 283, and in 1971 was replaced with an internally and externally correct, correct month 55 265 engine. All exterior parts (manifolds, carb, etc.) and ignition shields and chrome are original.
Other details: The interior is yellow with green appointments. The door panels and seat side trim are original. Car has a Scottop, purchased used in the early '60's, which was originally red with red speckled inside, now is Harvest Gold with grey speckled inside.

Car history:
Original family owned. The car is used now for weekend drives, rallys, and the annual CCDV Cavalcade of Corvettes show. Until the late '60's, it was a daily driver (I have pictures of it parked in the snow in front of the house). It was repainted by Earl Sheib of Cincinnati in 1964 (Premium Oven Baked!), in 1964 GM Goldwood Yellow, and returned to Harvest Gold in 1988 by Coastal Corvettes of Jacksonville Florida. Rock-hard replacement shocks from the 60's have been replaced with modern Delco gas shocks, car is now a real smooth cruiser. Engine has now been re-done in correct Chevy Red.
