Car history:
This 1961 Chevrolet Corvette is the last of this generation to feature the cove color option and the first to show off the stingray-style lights and larger trunk! Get noticed in this gem (only 10,939 were built) with her black with silver inserts exterior paint, lipstick red interior, and black hardtop. Her powertrain is not original but features a 327 V-8, 4-speed Borg Warner manual transmission, and 3.08 rear end with positraction! She is mechanically solid and ready for the road with working A/C.

This classic was owned by the same family since the early seventies, when they bought her with nearly seventy thousand miles on her. Today, her odometer shows just 80,203 miles. Her frame and body are solid as are her mechanics, there is no sign of any accident damage.

Her paint shows well, but is an older repaint. She will turn heads anywhere she goes, and will place at local shows, but will need a repaint to win regional competitions. Our body shop is in the process of replacing the convertible top. The hardtop is in excellent condition except for a small tear in the headliner, which is easily repairable.

The lipstick red interior was restored in 2002 and is in great condition! The original radio was replaced with a Kenwood AM/FM/Cassette radio. We have ordered a new windshield and the rest of the glass and chrome are in excellent condition. She rides on all season BF Goodrich Radial T/A tires (235/60/R15) and American Racing wheels.
