| Car history: |
| I found and purchased the car in July this year 2008. The car was in a barn in California (and trust me folks it is a true barn find). Once I got the car to its new home in Alaska I started work on it. The motor was frozen and cracked. The Interior seemed ok. I removed the entire interior except the dash and put in the rear seat of my BRAND NEW TRUCK! Forgot about it for a few days and now I cannot get the smell of cow manure out of my truck. Driving around in Alaska with the window down you might say is COOL! I was able to salvage the entire car but the block. I was even more surprised the original electric windows still work. The car was last registered in 1977. Just a little bleep on AC Delco battery. The tag said the warranty expired in July 1978. When I first got the corvette home I went to remove the battery and got a light spark. Curious I charged it up and it is holding a charge now for three months! I’m sold! As time goes on during the last of the restoration I will post some photos. |
