| I purchased the car in 1979 from a college kid in Sebastopol, CA. At the time, the car was a "hot rod": wide tires and wheels, custom, flamed paint, custom interior, bigger engine with a Muncie 4 speed, etc. I drove it like that for a few years, then undertook a restoration of the car that spanned 10 years. Since then the car has been pampered, and only taken out on nice, sunny days! |
