INFORMATION ON THE CAR Car Was Bought New by Donald A Stark Glasscock Chevrolet Willoughby, Ohio July 1954
The car was the personal property of Mr Stark until his death in 1973 at which time it became the property of Timothy P Stark 5137 Jungle Plum Rd. Sarasota FL, after the Death of Mr Timothy Stark the car stayed in the state of limbo until a restoration project was started during the spring of 1975. This frame off restoration was completed in February 1980 at a cost of approximately $9500 for parts and labor.
Car was said to be completely disassembled. Frame was sand blasted primed then painted. All running gear was rebuilt or replaced with new parts. All parts were primed and then painted.
Engine was disassembled as required with adjustments and parts replaced where needed.
Engine was primed and painted dark green, carburetors were removed and rebuilt.
Entire body was faired, primed and painted (white imron)
Chrome parts were removed and re chromed, parts requiring replacement were replaced with reproduction parts, 4 new tires from lester tire co.
The car then went to William Y Warren in 1999 and shows miles at 65,788 .
The car was stored for many years when I bought the car from a friend .
He had all the fluids changed, transmission rebuilt, Carbs were rebuilt, Brakes and lines, gas tank, rear-end.
Car Runs and drives great and fun to drive.
Please Remember she is 57 years old. Head lights, Brake lights, Turn Signals, All work. I see No Oil leaks in my garage.
Paint on the car is in very good shape, has new top, new seat covers, new carpet, chrome has some old age wear and is driver quality.
Things I would do if I were keeping the car. I would put a new set of tires. They have flat spots from sitting. Two side snaps for the top. Jack and jack handle and spare wheel. Metal side cover for engine. Windshield washer bottle. Paint inside of hood black. Paint inside of lights black. Paint inside of lic plate black.
Items that do not work on the car: Radio, Tach, Speedometer just quit working.
(When car was titled the Engine data information was used, Some say this is how it was done back then.) (Title number 0725111F54Y.)
YOUR BUYING THE CAR AS IS WHERE IS NO WARRANTY WHAT SO-EVER CAR WILL COME WITH A CLEAR FLORIDA TITLE.
