Engine details: Original Engine gone when car was purchased, but proper date coded 283 block, with all appropriate original stampings (w/o serial number component) found for car. Original engine option unknown, but we had a 2x4 setup, so we decided to make the car a 270HP solid lifter car.
Other details: Has original 4 speed transmission and 3.70 posi rear.

Car history:
Car was a mess when purchased; probably led a hard life based on the condition of many items. As far as we can tell, was originally a Sateen Silver car with a Sateen Silver cove. Car was painted black at some point. Also the front end was damaged and replaced with fiberglass from a 1961/62 Honduras Maroon donor car. Prior restoration attempt replaced the frame; guessing the frame was rusted out. Car is undergoing a full, frame off restoration. Current owner prefers black, so the body (now all painted) is now Tuxedo Black/Sateen Silver cove.
