Car history:
1958 totally original Corvette with just 67,406 miles driven since new. This is one of just 455 Panama Yellow Corvettes produced in 1958. The top is black as original and has been replaced once correctly. The original interior is charcoal. THIS IS NOT A REPAINT. This is the original paint, chrome and stainless. The engine has never been detailed. This car has never seen the inside of a body shop.

I have owned this car for 5 years and driven it less than 200 miles. When I purchased it from a collector in Montana it still had the original mufflers. They were shot so I have replaced them. The car still has the original shocks, spare tire, trunk mat, tail and exhaust pipes and hangers. The collector in Montana who I purchased it from owned it for about 25 years. Before that it was in the Bob McDorman Collection in Canel Wilnchester, Ohio. During that time it was the subject of a poster created by Automobile Quarterly. I have a copy that goes with the car. The mileage from the time it was in the McDorman Collection through the collector I purchased it from is documented.

The car is equipped with the 4-speed transmission, signal seeking AM radio, heater, positraction and FUEL INJECTION. All the number match and all the original components to the engine and chassis are on the car. This car was built with the CQ suffix engine, 283cu inch 230HP engine. Either before the early 70's when the car was in the McDorman Collection or while it was there, the correct numbers matching fuel injection system was added to the car. The poster I have documents the presence of the FI system while in the McDorman Collection.
