For sale via e-Bay:
This 1961 Corvette has just underwent a body off restoration that was completed less than four months ago. This vehicle is an original fuel injected MS car that has had the same owner for the last 19 years and was in driveable condition when restoration was started. The paint is near show quality and looks as if you could dive off in it, all jambs and painted areas look just the same. We spent more money on chrome than most people spend on restorations and it looks wonderful. Everything on this car was chromed ( mouldings, bumpers, strikes, sill plates, etc.) and it is show quality which the pictures should show. The interior is in good shape with many new items and looks nice as you will see in the pictures.
The motor is a non original 327 that has just been professionally rebuilt with dual carburetors and runs and sounds excellent with loads of power. The four speed shifts excellent with no slack and has a great feel. We put Aerospace billet disc brakes all around and it stops excellent, unlike most 61s you can take your hands off the wheel when you stop. The car sits on 17 inch American Torque Thrust IIs and new BFG tires that really give it that nice look. |
