For sale via e-Bay:

Offered is a 1962 Corvette Roadster. This car was bought by the current owner in 1971 in Chicago and shipped to to Los Angeles in 1978 where it has remained. The owner believes the mileage is the original at 80k. The numbers do not match on this Vette. The car had a 350 V/8 installed approximately 4 years ago. The engine has only 500 miles since it was installed. The owner does not have the original shortblock.

Features:

* Removable hardtop/convertible.
Color: Honduras Maroon. The car has been painted 3 times in the past.
350 V/8 with a 4 Speed Manual Transmission with Hurst Shifter.
4:11 Posi.
Rear Air Shocks.
The car does not have anything power; brakes, steering, windows, etc.
No AC.
Aftermarket AM/FM Cassette.
American Mags with new tires.
Viper Alarm.

Condition:

Good driver. The owner states the car was hit in the rear in ''71 and repaired. It did not affect the frame to his knowledge. Owner says the car drives great and is very dependable. Good chrome with some shallow pitting on the front grill. Tach is disconnected and the clock needs repair. Door handles are missing. Windows in the hardtop are slightly clouded. The dash material is slightly seperating from the windshield. A couple of dimples on the front fenders stainless trim. Trunk lid shows some repair (see pic). Brakes and suspension were restored approx. 8 years ago. The car has been garaged for many years and rarely driven.

The owner is open to an inspection of the vehicle. Please email me if you want to arrange one. The owner believes the car does not have any major rust or rust repairs. All in all the car is complete and would make a good candidate for restoration.
