Vehicle Description
You are bidding on a 1962 Corvette convertible w/ both tops. Soft top is black and in excellent condition including the back window. Honduras Maroon paint w/ black interior. Matching #s 327/300hp engine. However, it has a solid lifter cam and lifters. I think it's a 340hp cam. Has aluminum valve covers w/ 340hp labels on them. It idles @ 1000/1200 rpm. (W/camel hump heads) Exhaust is in very good condition. New clutch, pressure plate and throw out bearing. T-10 Warner trans w/ stock Corvette linkage. 3:70 gears in rear. Four excellent bias ply 1" white wall Good Year F78-15 tires. Previous owner of 27 years said mileage on odometer was correct. (presently 63031 miles). A great running driver w/ older paint that shows signs of weather and paint cracks.However, has taken 1st prize in local shows. A good 20 ft car. Has a very clean trunk. Wonderbar radio and clock need work. Seats are in very good condition. |
