Car history:
via email from Jim Howlett: "Car was purchased in 1981 by Norb F ' Bud' Schaefer from Timothy W Shirley of Greenwood Indiana. Mr Shirley had owned the car since 1976. The car was restored by LaVine Restorations of Nappanee Indiana for the purpose of winning the 1996 AACA show in Florida where it won First Junior Class 30. The car was then put on display in the offices of Norcar Vintage Racing in Carmel Indiana. Upon the death of Bud Schaefer in 1998 the car along with Bud's extensive collection of race and vintage cars became the property of his wife Carolyn Schaefer. Mrs. Schaefer shipped the car to Hawaii where it was sold to Jim Howlett in 2002. The car remains in show quality condition and runs excellently."
