Factory Fuel Injected 1958 Corvette 283 engine 290 HP 4 Speed Trans with the Original black & yellow license plates. The restoration is at least 12 years old but looks like it was just finished yesterday it has less than 4000 miles since the restoration. It comes with the original removable hard top that has NOT been restored. This particular car was not optioned with a soft top. The body & paint is near flawless but the red is not the correct color. The 283 engine was balanced and blue printed. This car also has Disc brakes with a custom dual reservoir master cylinder. The car stops like it has power brakes it has the stock wheels with factory hubcaps and T/A radials. It’s not a 100 point car because of the color and disc brakes, tires, radio, rad hose clamps, and I'm sure several other things. This car has had the same owner since about 1991 or 92.
Here are the Numbers the engine block casting # is 3737739 the # on stamped on the pad is FI20405 date code is J 23 7 The heads casting #s are the same 3748770 date code on left head is K 8 7 right is I 4 7 when I had the valve covers off I saw it has roller tip rockers that I forgot about The # on the Fuel injection is 1534 7014900R bell housing date code is K 29 7 The T10 tail shaft housing is 11-12-59 can't make out the ones on the body of the trans The rear end casting # is 3748833 date code is A 13 8 |
