Car history:
This 1957 Corvette was purchased by Larry Leedy in 1964 and built into a race car with the assistance of Bob Spicer, who drove it in SCCA events for the next several years. Spicer shared piloting duties with Fred Yeakel at the 1966 Riverside six-hour Enduro, and the pair placed first in class and second overall. The car later spent several decades in storage, and restoration work initiated by its prior owner involved replacing the front portion of the body and powder-coating the frame.
