1957 CORVETTE RARE FUEL INJECTED AUTOMATIC.........Only 111 made! I have owned the car for 25 years or more. I am asked if it was an original fuel car. All I can tell you is that it was a fuel car when I got it and the previous owner who had had it for many years said it was a fuel car when he got it. Who knows. All of the linkage and all the little stuff seems to be correct. The fuel unit is the model that seems to be the one for the production date of the car. I have driven the car for 25 years on this fuel unit and it has always worked well and is very dependable. This last year I have had the Power Glide transmission completely overhauled, a Al Knoch convertible top, with all the weather stripping installed, Al Knoch seat covers and carpet. I have had the front end completely rebuild and a full alignment done on the car. The car also has the hard top (not shown). The car starts, runs and drives well. The only thing the car suffers from is lack of attention in recent years. Here are the photos and other information on my 57 Vette.
