Availible for auction is a 1961 Hard Top Only! Roman Red Corvette Convertible. This car came optioned from the factory with a hard top only. It has been taken off the frame and fully restored. This restoration is an older restoration but has been preserved in time. The cosmetics are great on this car with nothing left undone. Under the hood is it's correct 3756519 block with a CT 245hp code on the front pad. In the trunk we have a dual four barrel intake that goes along with the sale of this car. The intake currently on the car is a single four intake with a Carter Carburator. The engine compartment is properly dressed and restored back to it's GM stock appearance. All it's shielding is there including the shielding around the spark plugs, proper generator, air cleaner, fresh air intake hose, and Harrison expansion tank. The manual four speed transmission is correct and shifts properly. Looking at the pictures below you can see that the frame is in excellent condition. It has been detailed and fully restored with tape still in the body mounts. The body is in excellent condition with beautiful factory seems, lines and fits. Underneath the car the floor boards are clean and show there factory white fiberglass. The Roman Red paint with White coves is in excellent show quality condition. Going over the body and paint on this car it has been meticulously restored and well kept. The chrome is in show quality condition with a bright shine and finish. Inside the interior it has been restored back to it's GM stock appearance. The radio is an aftermarket Corvette radio. The gauges are all correct and in working order. The dash is like new as is the rest of the interior, The seats are in good condition, the door panels are in good shape with there correct stainless covers, and the interior chrome looks great along with the door seal plates. All the original LOF glass is still in the car and looks good. Overall this car is in great condition and drives fantastic. This is a collector quality car that is very desirable and highly sought after.
