| The original owner drag raced the car in So Cal at San Fernando Raceway, and perhaps other drag strips. The original owner also replaced the 3-speed manual with a B&M Hydro (Hydramatic) 4-speed. He also installed traction bars, driveshaft safety loop, and exhaust cutouts (now welded closed). My father purchased the car in 1962. He later installed Rochester FI and Paxton supercharger, but it now has the original dual quads reinstalled. I purchased the car in 2023. |
