1956 Corvette Roadster "The corvette was born in 1953 but it grew up in 1956. In 1956 Chevrolet got it's Corvette act together. " Illusterated Corvette by Michael Antonick* Restored to its original quality and condition. A ground up restoration was started a few years ago and was completed not too long ago. The NCRS (National Corvettes Restorers Guide) guide was used when this car was restored. Engine is correct and completely rebuilt V-8 265 C1 with the optional dual four barrel carburetor package, 225 hp. Its sounds and runs spectacular! New two-tone paint in the popular color combination Cascade Green with White coves. Beige interior trimmed in white interior is all new and correct. New White soft top Rare and very desirable White auxiliary hardtop Optional Powerglide transmission - out of 3,467 1956 Corvettes produced only 715 came equipped with a powerglide transmissions.
