| Engine details: |
Short blocked in Boise, Idaho with a 327 block It still had the original heads. It had a Rochester single 4 but it also had the aluminum valve covers and a dual point distributor. The distributor was dated in L 58 |
| Other details: |
The car had many paint jobs and the serial number plate was lost at the last one in southern CA. California etched the SN on the door post and added a CA to the end of the number. The base color was black. with silver cove and black interior. The black seat belts were of the pebble grain and the buckles appeared to be those used in 62. There were 62 fuely emblems on the car as well. These were definitely added to the car at some point.
Of the five rims, 2 are dated 2 59, 2 are dated 1 59 and one is dated 12 58. |

| Car history: |
| The car came with a custom built tow bar with heavy brackets welded to the front cross member. The owner I bought the car from had the tow bar and a trunk rack. The rack was badly rusted and I didn't need the tow bar. He said that he bought the car in California. He had it painted the color of the early picture while he was still in CA. That paint shop is the one that lost the S/N plate. |
