For sale via e-Bay: This is a 1962 Corvette that went through an extensive body off the frame restoration in the late 1990’s. The car runs and drives great! Body Bright red correct Corvette Roman Red color and an outstanding base coat/clear coat paint job. All of the chrome and stainless steel are near perfect condition. Original windshield has some wiper burns in it but can be polished out. Engine This car was an original fuel injected car according to the previous owner. I have tried to verify this claim but it seems without paperwork, it is impossible. The car now has a late model 350 HP / 350 with aluminum heads and intake with a dual line Holley Carburetor. It also has late model electronic ignition. Here is the good part. The car also comes with a 327 engine with correct heads, but no fuel injection unit. (Please note the 327 engine that goes with the car is not correct date coded). Interior The interior is very nice and was redone when the car was restored. It needs nothing as the photos before you show. All the instruments work except the tach, because of the late model ignition system. I do have the correct distributor and tach with cable that will make the tach work. Clock has been redone and keeps perfect time. Radio has been replaced with a late model AM/FM cassette Corvette radio that fits the dash perfect. The car also has a nearly new black canvas top. The top looks new still... Underside New bar & rear cross-members, new upper & lower A- joints, ball joints and shocks. Brakes have all been redone. New rear cross-members, sway bar & shocks. The frame was cleaned and painted. No rust. New exhaust system with Flowmaster’s. New wide white-wall tires correct size and width but are radials made to look like polyestris. Correct hub cabs and all are excellent. Rear-end is 3:70 positraction. This is one car that looks great and drives better then it looks... Get in this car with confidence and take it on a cross country trip! Trunk Area Redone nicely with new mat. Solid.
