Other details: |
1964 Muncie 4 speed. 3:31 positraction. Aftermarket AM/FM radio. Front disc brakes, rear drum brakes. No brake power booster. Dual brake master cylinder. Vintage Air A/C. Leather Al Knoch seat covers. Complete body/paint work done in 2016. She will be getting a new soft top this fall (2021). Brand new Sully top frame, plus new tan colored soft canvass (Mercedes type material). All waiting for fall to get installed. Car gets driven about 5k miles a year. Car shows great, but she's not original. She's is super reliable and I don't hesitate to take her on multi-thousand mile trips. I love to drive her without worry! She gets better every year |

Car history: |
I don't have much history. I bought her in Albuquerque, NM in June of 2003. From the paper-trail, she went through some significant rebuilding in the mid 90s. She had 70,000 miles on her in 1996. From the time of the rebuilding and when I bought her in 2003, she only had about 3,000 miles put on her. Over the years I have changed much on this car, with the goal of making her as reliable as any car on the street. New ZZ4 crate motor. Rebuilt Muncie transmission and clutch at the same time as I put in the new motor. Rear axle rebuilt about 2 years ago. Leather seat covers (a little cooler than the vinyl). Complete body redone about 5 years ago. Body panels now fit properly. Paint is as close to the original color of Honduras Maroon as can be done with the new paint material. Disc brakes on the front for safety. Dual master cylinder for safety. Vintage Air Conditioning to make her drive-able as one crosses the desert. I have met my reliability goal. |
