Vehicle Description
1957 Chevrolet Conv. Corvette. This car sports the original Pegasus paint scheme, as seen in the 1976 HOT ROD Magazine. Keep in mind the paint is now about 40 years old but still in very good condition. The interior is also in very good shape...as is the original PEGASUS art work on the hood. The car was modified from the factory spec Corvette in 1961 to become Pegasus in 1964. The modifications done included custom interior work, custom fiberglass work, another engine and rear end, as well as the popular chrome straight axle of the day under the front end. The original front and rear end come with this one of a kind car. However, the customizing work did not alter the original body.
Vehicle Condition
This "Pegasus" Vette is a one of a kind. It was located in an old barn in central Texas. This car has been stored since 1984. We have all the original parts to restore it to factory condition. The original 283 motor, w/matching VIN numbers, and original rear-end are included. Currently it has a 283 CID strong running motor under the hood. |
